Net PPM Bridge

A ledger on vendor reports from shipped revenue to the net margin Amazon earns on your products.

A ledger on vendor reports that shows how Amazon gets from what it sold your products for to the Net PPM it reports on them:

  • Shipped Revenue
  • less Shipped COGS, giving Product Margin
  • plus Contra COGS, the funding you give Amazon
  • less Sales Discount, the price discounts you fund, giving Net Margin
  • Net PPM from those lines (net margin divided by shipped revenue), next to the Net PPM Amazon reports

The two Net PPM figures differ by returns, timing, and parts of Amazon’s formula it does not publish. Amazon reports contra COGS and sales discounts in the Sourcing view only, so in the Manufacturing view the bridge stops at Product Margin.

Where is it in InsightLeap?

In the Profitability section of Vendor Central weekly and monthly reports.

Where does it come from?

Every line is a figure shown elsewhere on the report: shipped revenue from Amazon’s sales report, the rest from Amazon’s vendor analytics data.
