Weekly and monthly reports have been rebuilt from the ground up. They carry more than 60 new metrics on profitability, advertising, and Amazon.com, and each account’s report can be tailored to show exactly what matters to the people who read it.
Every section, card, and table on the weekly and monthly reports is a setting, so each account’s report can be shaped around its readers.
Vendor Central accounts get contra COGS, sales discounts, and Net PPM from Amazon’s Data Kiosk, with a Net PPM Bridge that walks from shipped revenue to the margin Amazon earns on your products, and a Products by Net PPM table.
Seller Central accounts get fees (FBA fulfillment, storage, referral, and return processing), advertising charges, cost of goods sold, and net proceeds, with a Profit and Loss ledger that runs from ordered product sales to net proceeds in the order Amazon computes it.
Your Gross Profit. Upload a unit cost per product (Manage Products, Upload Custom Product Details, Unit Cost column) and reports add Your Gross Profit and Your Gross Margin: what Amazon paid (vendors) or what you netted (sellers) on those products, less what the units cost.
Connect an Ads profile and every report gains an Advertising section: Ad Spend, Ad Sales, ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, Impressions, and Clicks across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display. The Advertising page adds a Search Terms tab showing which searches drive impressions, clicks, spend, and sales in each campaign, and the product tables add per-product ad columns.
A new report section from the daily Amazon.com crawl: Buy Box share (you, Amazon, or a third party), third-party sellers and new arrivals this period, in-stock rate, suppressed ASINs, content changes, new reviews, and average customer rating, plus counts of A+ Content, Amazon’s Choice, and Best Seller badges.
Twenty-three new cards join the sections you already know, ready to add in Report Settings. For sellers: Average Selling Price, Unit Session Percentage, Units Refunded, A-to-z claims, Received Negative Feedback Rate, and more. For vendors: Customer Returns, Return Rate, Vendor Confirmation Rate, Receive Fill Rate, and more.
Reports can now carry written analysis. A Report Note prints on the report page, the PDF, and the email, so every reader gets the numbers and the story behind them together. Turn on Report Annotations in Report Settings to have each report wait for its note, then send it straight from the report with Send Report to Recipients.
Every figure comes with a plain-language definition. Hover a card’s label in the app to see what it measures, or turn on Field Guide in PDF to end each PDF with a page defining every figure on it. It’s ideal for sharing reports with colleagues, clients, and anyone new to Amazon’s terms.
Vendor Central accounts can report on Amazon’s Sourcing view or Manufacturing view, chosen when the account is created and switched on Settings > Vendor Central. Manufacturing brings in Amazon Ordered Units, Amazon Ordered Revenue, Procurable Product Out of Stock Rate, and Ultra Fast Track In-Stock Rate, and every report is labeled with the view it uses.
The Products table and its CSV export add per-product profitability and advertising columns: contra COGS for vendors; fees and net proceeds for sellers; and ad spend, ad sales, impressions, and clicks for both. Every new report metric can be charted on Analysis > Compare.
